Windows 11 Pro build 24h2 is breaking license connectionAnswered

Help, I have a customer with 2 brand new PCs that cannot connect to the wyday licensing server. One is a desktop and the other is a laptop. They have tried on their corporate network and also off their corporate network on the laptop on a public hotel wifi so their network is not the issue. The only thing these two machines have in common is they came with Windows 11 24h2 pre-loaded. If he launches our application normally he gets an error that the license is not valid. If he launches as administrator, it does that but also disables his ethernet port and he has to reboot his PC to fix it. Interestingly enough, he ahs 2 other windows 11 pro machines that started with earlier versions and he upgraded to 24h2, and those two are working fine. It appears to be an issue only on PCs that come with 24h2 pre-loaded. Any ideas?

HI. I've the same problem. No License connection. Updated tp the Latest version but nothing. Really frustated. Can fix this bad problem?

Much more information is needed. TA/TF/TFS 5.0 and newer requires TLS 1.3 on modern windows.

So, if a customer is blocking TLS 1.3 then they should stop doing that.

So changing the build is not easy. This is one of our legacy products and we don't really have the resources to be changing anything. Is there anything else you can suggest other than upgrading TurboActive? Is there some sort of log or something we can provide from the customer side you can look at?

No, if you're still supporting the product, you'll need to update it. We don't provide support for out-dated version of TurboActivate for the very simple reason that we fix bugs. So… if a customer is running into a potential bug, they need to update. Or, if it's a new bug… they'll still need to update.

Either way you'll either be updating once or twice. So, start by updating to get all the things we've already fixed. And if a customer is still having problems, you can provide enough information that we can help them.
