Hi Wyatt and team,
First off, I just wanted to say how great LimeLM Turboactivate has been working for us. Quite flawlessly really, which is so impressive considering the odds of doing this with 1,000,000 different hardware and IT configurations seem so low.
My question is this: If a user's computer dies when our application's LimeLM TurboActivate license is Activated online on the computer, and we are confident enough that they are honest and not trying to get a free license out of us, what is the most efficient way for us on our end to deactivate the product key from our LimeLM admin console (at wyday.com), or via another way you suggest, so the user can re-enter their product key on the new machine without the LimeLM server refusing the Activation due to the product key already being in use and with the least amount of work on our end.
When I look at the LimeLM admin console for a given LimeLM TurboActivate license in “View Mode”, all I see are the following choices:
1. Delete product key
2. Revoke key
When I look at the LimeLM admin console for a given LimeLM TurboActivate license in “Edit Mode”, the only option I can see would be to increase the “Activations allowed” field by one, and I would rather not do this.
I saw your answer here: Can we deactivate a product key from another computer? [Answered] • wyDay Forum , where you said “No, you'll have to manually deactivate their key for them.” So I just wanted to know how to do this, i.e. how to manually deactivate a user's key on their behalf from our end.
Thank you in advance,
Brook
