Is Adobe Air, Now Harman SDK being supported?
Fyi: Adobe air was part of a 18 Billion dollar company with Adobe. Adobe air was supported by Harman since it's inception.
Harman, a subsidiary of Sumsung electronics bought Adobe Air and is still being utiliized, developed and supported since 2020, which is part of a 391.53 trillion company.
You've indicated that Adobe Air Is a dying on the vine technology and I was confused on your stance about dying on a vine. Harman bought/acquired Air by Samsung for 8 Billion
Don't know what you consider dying but Air technolgy is not going anywhere, it's being expanded and utilized within a trillion dollar company, is LIMELM not realizing, supporting or developing for this?
Is Adobe Air, Now Harman SDK being supported?
Yes. We support AIR for TurboActivate. We support it in the same way Harman supports it: the bare minimum support.
They're not improving the Actionscript language at all and the adoption for AIR is shrinking not growing. Which spells the death of the language and ecosystem.
If it's possible for you to switch languages, you should. NodeJS / Electron is the closest conceptually to AIR, so would also be a decent enough choice. Is the death imminent? I don't know; companies lie about this until the moment they don't lie about it.
When I tell you to switch I'm not being mean or dismissive. I'm giving you advice based on similar missteps we've made over the years choosing (based on all the information we had at the time) wrong platforms, languages, and ecosystems. We've had the benefit of making these mistakes multiple times to be able to spot the signs of a failing ecosystem.
Large profile examples of this are Facebook and Google products (they put their “full weight” and “fully support” products and ecosystems, until they don't and they get killed overnight). You can view whole websites dedicated to listing large “will never fail” products that these companies killed. Hundreds of them.
All the signs are there that AIR / Actionscript are ending. But in the meantime we support it.

Since Nov 4 2024, (19 NEW) Releases have been made to HARMAN / ADOBE AIR. When will you release something ? Been 8 months and they've released 19 NEW Releases.
We do have Adobe AIR support. If you're having a problem please be specific and provide enough information so we can actually help you.
This is in reference to this issue, never resolved. Do you have a new sdk for Harman Air? https://wyday.com/forum/t/32832/harman-air-1-13-25-sdk-turbo-float/
Don't know how much more information is needed to address getting newly updated LIMELM SDK for Harman Air, but Issue started with Turbo Activate, unable to activate due to VM when no VM in use. Told to use Turbo Float, told to switch to Node JS. Told Harman Air wasn't important to develop for LIMELM SDK due to EOL. Well we're 19 new Harman Air SDK version releases beyond that advice/point for that dying EOL system for Mac, windows, Android, Linux, etc. Pretty active end of life cycle, when will LIMELM be able to release 1 new sdk to support any of the 19 new releases from Harman since our original service inquiry? Preferably the latest Harman Air release on July. 2025, which includes flex actions script update. https://airsdk.harman.com/download/51.2.1.7
fyi flex action script updated.
AIR for Flex users
HARMAN have continued Adobe’s strategy of issuing two AIR SDKs per platform: the first of these (“AIRSDK_[os].zip”) contains the newer ActionScript compiler and is a full, self-contained SDK for compiling and packaging AIR applications. The second of these is for combination with the Flex SDK (“AIRSDK_Flex_[os].zip”) which doesn’t include a number of the files necessary for ActionScript/MXML compilation. These SDKs should be extracted over the top of an existing, valid Flex SDK.
The original instructions from Adobe are at https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/x-productkb/multi/how-overlay-air-sdk-flex-sdk.html but a few alterations to this are needed to Step 4 if running on macOS. For this platform, the downloaded AIR SDK zip needs to be expanded to a temporary area and then the copy command needs to copy symbolic links as links rather than resolving them to files. This can be done using a capital ’R’ rather than lowercase, hence:
cp -Rf /tmp/AIRSDK_Flex_MacOS/* /path-to-empty-FLEXSDK-directory
Please note that the config files (air-config.xml, airmobile-config.xml, flex-config.xml) may need to be updated to support new features and updates in AIR or in dependencies such as ANEs. For example to ensure the correct SWF version is output, the below line would need to be updated (e.g. to ‘50’ for AIR 50.x, or ‘44’ for AIR 33.1, etc):
<swf-version>14</swf-version>
NOT ANSWERED, NOR FIXED
Can't be more specific than this… keep.closing out request as answered with ZERO actual fixes. VM On windows 11, pro, 24h2 have been an issue, which then turned into Adobe Air / Harman Air issue.
How about a solution? 38 HARMAN AIR SDK UPDATES SINCE JAN 8TH, Kinda busy EOL, WOULDN'T YOU SAY?
When will you release a NEW LIMELM SDK FOR "HARMAN AIR? (Formerly Adobe Air)
Use the Adobe AIR support JavaScript. Use the NodeJS example for TurboFloat.
As stated in the other thread, this is coming but not a priority. It's not being actively worked on because 5.x and LC are coming first. See the other thread.
