I've literally seen you call vmprotect and themida snake oil, when what they're doing is the same product as you + the virtualization, vmprotect also support hardware locked usb's with virtualization on top
I've been reading quite a bit around this forum, but to call code virtualization snake oil is probably the funniest statement, I've yet to hear in my life.
We’ve never called VMs snake oil. Don’t know where you read that. You’re likely misunderstanding something. We’ve called plenty of fake and easily crackable technologies snake oil: https://wyday.com/limelm/features/why/#snake-oil
… because they are.

Correct. Any solution the pretends to prevent cracking is lying.
We've exposed this with other companies. The problem is being able to broadcast the results. Namely, to throw together a video for public consumption that directly shows the snake-oil (i.e. how very easily these can be cracked).
Long story short: if you can get the CEOs to sign a document letting us prove they're snake oil and publish a public video without them turning around a suing us, we'll do it in a heartbeat. If their “technology” really prevented or slowed down cracking it would be a PR-win to allow us to make an attempt.
But it doesn't. It's a scam. So I'm not holding my breath on this ever happening. (We've made this offer multiple times over the last couple of decades, and the companies & sock-puppets slowly slink away after we do.)
If you're actually with a real software company (not a troll or a sock-puppet) and you're actually evaluating "technology" that we call snake-oil, then you should make them put their money where their mouth is (and us too!) by letting us make an attempt. At the very least it'll be fun to watch them squirm.
We're not going to waste our time (again) to prove to a small audience what a scam these “anti-crack” "technologies" are. We're going large or not doing it at all.
Until you do that, you'll have to take our word for it and experienced developers words for it. (Script kiddies on forums are not experienced developers, sorry.).
If your account is just a sock puppet for one of these companies owners / employees feel free to forward this suggestion to yourself / your boss.
If you're just a random person who believed magical BS, then we're not for you. Our tech is based in reality. We're not going to lie to get your business. Nor are we going to bend over backwards to prove objective reality. Not worth our time. 🤷🏻♂️
