Turbofloat - Server and program on different computers

Hello,

I have installed turbofloat server on Computer A, and the .Net program is on Computer B.

Previously, when I had both on the same computer, it worked fine.

But when I installed turbofloat server on another computer, I'm just not able to connect to it. I always get a TF.InternetException.

Things I tried: 1. I tried with the default port of 13. No luck. 2. I did a netstat -ano and saw port 5544 was open (listening). I changed the turbofloat server to have this port and restarted it, but I still got the InternetException. 3. I tried putty to connect from Computer B to Computer A. I tried a couple of open ports. I'm able to connect just fine. But when I do it from the .Net program, I get the InternetException again.

Your assistance is much appreciated!

On the client computer:

1. The firewall must be configured to allow external connections to the IP / Port.

2. The router must allow external connections to the external IP/port.

On the server computer.

1. The firewall must be configured to allow incoming / outgoing connection on the Port configured (this happens when you install the TurboFloat Server on Windows, see: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/turbofloat-server/#install ) On other operating systems you must handle the various firewalls yourself.

2. The router and any network switches must be configured to allow incoming / outgoing connections on the Port, and if multiple computers share the IP, then data on that Port must be forwarded correctly to that server computer.

Hello,I will install our software at the offices of a new customer who has strict network policies. What are the port needed opened to send AND get the result from the LimeW Servers ?Thanks

Besides the port that the customer needs to open for communication to/from the TFS?: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/turbofloat-server/#config-bind

Port 80 / 443 to wyday.com (so, http://wyday.com and https://wyday.com). Why? See: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/turbofloat-server/#config-isgenuine
