Updating TurboFloat Server

Hi,

If I update a licence key by changing the number of floating licences, parameters etc, how do I get the TurboFloat server to read this change so that the additional licences ect are available to the users without waiting for the (90 day) update?

If they don't want to wait, then they can re-activate immediately by shutting down the TurboFloat Sever, and just calling -a.

Thank you for your reply - by "shutting down" do you mean uninstalling?

No, I mean stopping the service if you're running it as a service.

So if we de-activate the floating licensing server because we want the user to stop using our licensed product, we would have to wait until the floating licensing server reached out to limelm's servers to get that new information?

Yes.

If you know customers will have a fixed length of using your product then the solution is to use custom license fields, read the fields from inside your app, and if the date X has passed, tell them about it in your app, and then shutdown your app.
