THANK YOU
I have a weird situation. I issued a floating server license to a customer. Long story short, I had to issue a different license to them. For several months I assumed that the new license was running on their server. But it turns out it hasn't been. Apparently the old license is running. Unfortunately, I deleted the old license from the license chest because I thought it was unused. We figured out this week that the old license is still running (long story). I told the customer to deactive on the server using TurboFloatServer.exe -deact and they got an error message that the connection to the server has timed out. I have this bad feeling he cannot deactivate the old license because I deleted it. Is there a way out of this to deactive the deleted license so that they can activate the new one?
Yes, to both questions: https://wyday.com/limelm/help/turbofloat-server-commandline/
Use -v
to figure out the license they're using. Use offline deactivation to deactivate offline (it seems like they're either offline or actively blocking our severs, which is functionally the same thing).
