Thanks for the info!
Hi! Some of our European customers are asking for Standard Contractual Clauses, since when using TurboActivate they are sending data to your servers which are located in the US.
On your privacy page you are stating “wyDay also complies with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework”, but this framework is invalidated since 2020.
The new requirement is Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC).
For example: https://www.activecampaign.com/legal/newscc
Do you have something like that ready?
The DPA covers this: https://wyday.com/dpa/
You sign and agree to it when you use LimeLM.
Yes, we still make a mention of the halfway-defunct Privacy Shield (lapsed under Trump's incompetence), and we will be voluntarily enrolling in the Data Privacy Framework (the Privacy Shield successor).
But, long story short: our DPA already has SCC and is compliant with the GDPR. This is something we continually monitor (and actively encourage countries to adopt more stringent privacy laws – the U.S. for example has abhorrent, mostly non-existent, privacy laws).
