Upload to S3

It isn't critical, but I would like to suggest that you consider adding S3 functionality to the Publish feature. It would be great to be able to publish to an S3 site similar to how this can be done with FTP. I've recently started using S3 and am moving my update servers to this platform. It is not a big deal for me to copy the files over with an 3S client but would like to eventually see additional publish methods available.

Thanks, keep up the good work.

Sorry, I meant to respond to this a couple of days ago - I've been researching methods of uploading to S3. We'll see what we can do. We'll have to do a bit of finagling with the Amazon libraries.

But before we add S3 ability we'll be adding uploading for network locations and SFTP (aka SSH FTP).

Just adding another vote for Amazon S3 upload capabilities native to wyBuild!

Did you mean SFTP? FTPS is FTP over SSL/TLS.

BTW: FTPS support would be greatly appreciated, as it is the only secure method of uploading via FTP on IIS 7. Any other secure transport would do (e.g. WebDeploy or WebDAV). At present it appears there is no secure way to upload updates to IIS 7 without using 3rd party tools.

Sorry, yes I meant SFTP. We'll look into adding WebDAV and/or FTPS support.

wyBuild 2.6.18 is now out. You can now upload to Amazon S3.
