This is the first time that I am updating a windows service.My service has Log on as "Local System"NGEN is disabled by defaultThe service is correctly stopped after the beginning of update process, but the process hangs in "optimizing and executing files" stage.If I press cancel the process remains in hanged state.If I kill wyUpdate then the process that is marked as "run after update" starts normally and everything seems updated.The service is not running but I can start it manually.
Is there a log file to check what is going wrong?
It should tell you which file it's currently executing. That'll give you a clue as to what's going wrong. Or you could open task manager and see which one of your processes is hanging.
Also, make sure you're not using a custom build of wyUpdate -- use our build of wyUpdate. We don't provide support for custom builds.
