WyBuild Itself cannot check for updatesAnswered

I have a registered copy of Wybuild. I downloaded a fresh copy and reinstalled the most current version. I noticed that when I try to “check for updates” inside Wybuild, I get the following error:

"Error trying to save file: Error downloading "http://wyday.com/files/wyupdate/updates/designer.wys": The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send."

Coincidentally, this is the same error that all of my applications are now receiving and why I am rebuilding all of my Wybuild/WyUpdate integrations into my applications. I am unable to use the walk-through steps to perform a test Dot.Net 4 application using the newer DLLs. I keep getting the same error as listed above. I am able to download the file manually using the link and a web browser, but the AutomaticUpdater and Wyupdate.exe always return the above error with the test application.

I am showing version 2.6.18.4 (9/5/2012)

I am on the right track now. The most current version of WyUpdate is on the Git Hub server and not on the www.wyday.com website download links. I have downloaded the Git Hub project and after compiling, I am making progress on the issue.

Now how do I push out updates to software that can no longer check for updates without the newest Wyupdate.exe? Bummer.

Hey Storey,

Next version is a native updater an won’t rely on workarounds for .Net bugs.
