We have a system that is not internet accessible and have periodically used the verified offline trial and extension feature described here: https://wyday.com/forum/t/4304/offline-trial-extension/
However, recently we found that after the initial trial has expired and we use the offline verified trial activation via the website, we're no longer prompted for the new expiration like we used to be, and the resulting trial activation code fails with error code 1. Has the procedure for doing an offline verified trial extension changed? Or do I need to update the DLL to a newer one? Current DLL version is 4.4.4.0.

Much more information is needed.
You're likely using unverified trial extensions with verified trials. Or vice versa.
