How to Major Updates

Hi Wyatt,

I have search the forum for the major software update issue but i could not find the answer.Suppose i have a major update of my software from 1.x to 2.x. On the LimeLM servers a newly created .dat file and a GUID is created for the version. How do i handle the customers with the old version? How can i update these customers with there current license key. I would prefer to handle the code through my software.

If you want the customers from version 1.x to freely use product keys in 2.x of your app, then don't even create a new version in LimeLM. Just include the TurboActivate.dat from 1.x in your 2.x app and continue using the product keys generated from that version in LimeLM.
