No, we can't reproduce this. Make sure you upload all the update files to your server. And if you don't want to use the catch-all update file make sure you exclude that in File -> Properties -> Update & server files, and not just by not uploading the latest version of the file.
client.wyc updates but application doesnt
wacI am evaluating WyUpdate to push updates for my application. It worked in most cases but on roughly 3% of the machines the update failed. The client.wyc updated on those machines but the application files failed to update. After replacing client.wyc on a few of the affected machines with the one from the last version it successfully updated on the next update cycle. So far I have been unable to identify the issue. Has anyone faced this issue before?

wacAll files are already uploaded to the server. Like I mentioned the update goes successfully on 97% in the first run. Only 3% machine had this issue. And on those machines if the client.wyc is manually reverted the update goes through successfully.
We can't reproduce this here. We're going to need a lot more information to help you. For starters, version numbers (wyUpdate, wyBuild, AutomaticUpdater). Next, are you using custom actions? Are you executing files as part of the update. Do these executed files change things on the computer? What if they fail, what happens?
