windows start-p folder

I'm trying to find out how to add a shortcut to the application to the startup folder.

In the "Common Start Menu Programs folder" or "Current user's Start Menu Programs folder".

This puts it in the start menu but I'm looking for the start-up folder.

The startup folder is a subfolder in the "Common Start Menu Programs folder" or "Current user's Start Menu Programs folder". Create the folder in wyBuild, add your shortcut to it.
