IT Department blocking internet

One of our distributors is having trouble with an install of our software. Here's what they emailed me:

The only issue is that internet is completely blocked on all computers in production. The IT guy asked me to email him the site that the software needs to ping so he can add it as an exception.

What "site" address do I need to send them?
