Problems when changing download site

We changed the url for the updates (download site) from www.example.com/client/updates/%file% to download.example.com/client/updates/%file% a year ago.

But still there are clients that check www.example.com for their updates. And they have have updated multiple since we changes the url.

Shouldnt the update url be updated?

Did you include the new client.wyc in the latest update? If not, then do that.

Does the client.wyc contain both the old site and the new site? If so, then make sure only the new site is included.

Is it possible to include the client.wyc that is generated with newest version (v.1.2) in the updates, or do i need to add the client.wyc generated in v1.1 ?

I am using a powershell script to create both updates and installer.Using wybuild.cmd.exe.

When you include the client.wyc in wyBuild it ignore the version. It looks at everything other than the version. So you can just build it once and include it in all subsequent updates.
