How to make a silent updater for my python win32 app.. I am a Noob

Hello All,

I created a python windows app and I compiled it using py2exe and it works great.

Now, I want to make a silent auto-updater for it.

I downloaded The Wyupdate project from code.google but I found that it contains a lot of files..

I though this will be easy, a Gui app which you give a url and Abra Cadabra.. you have a silent updater client. Thus, packing it within my Inno package. But This is Not true.

Please, help 🙁

If you're just using our open source code, and not actually using wyBuild, then things are harder (why? because you have to do everything manually).

If you want to use wyBuild, then this is a good place to start:
