TurboActivate: blank dialog

A Win XP user can't activate, the TurboActivate dialog is blank and only the Back/Next/Cancel buttons are shown. Any ideas?

Hmm, that's odd.

What version of TurboActivate.exe & TurboActivate.dll are being used? (Right click, click properties, then details). Check both versions -- they must match.

Are both code-signed? (Right click, click properties, click Digital Signtatures tab, click the first signature, click the "Details" button).

What version of Windows XP -- that is, x86 or x64 & which service pack is installed?

Always hard to get the right info from the customer. So far I got this:exe and dll v3.4.4.0both signed by wyDay Nov 6, 2013

Just guessing: could it be his root certs are outdated?

Unlikely. Our certificates should work on older versions of Windows with old root certificates. I was just asking about the certificates to see if the files have been modified on the customer's machine. If they have, then the files' certificates will be invalid.

If I were to guess I would say there's either a virus on the customer's machine or their hardware is failing (graphics card, CPU, or memory would be the main culprits for this type of failure). Or course, I need more information before I could tell you with any certainty.

There is one thing I know for certain: the TurboActivate Wizard should never show a blank dialog.
