TurboFloat Server activation always fails on first trySolved

Hi guys!

I just remarked a small problem with TFS activation. Every time I try to activate a key, it systematically and always fails the first time, but always works the second time. Example:

C:\..\TurboFloat-Server\x86>TurboFloatServer.exe -a="AAAA-BBBB-BBAA-ABAB-BABA-AABB-BBBB"2014-Jan-14 13:56:38.812052: The product key is invalid.

C:\..\TurboFloat-Server\x86>TurboFloatServer.exe -a="AAAA-BBBB-BBAA-ABAB-BABA-AABB-BBBB"2014-Jan-14 13:56:41.334196: Activated successfully.

Best regards!Alexandre

Hmmm... That shouldn't happen. We'll look into this later today.

What version of windows are you using? Also, are you running from an admin (elevated) command line prompt?

Hello Sam,

This is doing so on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2008 R2. I run the command prompt in elevated mode.

I see what you're doing -- the TFS on the machine is already activated using another key and you're passing in a new key and it's failing the first time. You're right, this is a bug. This will be fixed for the next version which will be out shortly.

Hello Sam,

Yea, you got it right! With all my tests I did not see the fact that it was already activated with another key. Thank you very much for your testing and for the fixing!

Best regards,Alexandre Leclerc

This has been fixed in TFS 3.5.4, out now. (You can get it here).
