I have a situation where a customer has several machines. It appears that http://www.wyday.com gets automatically blocked by the firewall. Strangely https://www.wyday.com does open in the browser.
The best solution is to just fix their firewall. Add wyday.com to the whitelist.
So they will do manual activations but have several machines. Does each machine have to do there own manual activation with a Request/Response file. Or is there a way to use a single response file for all machines.
Each machine has its own request and response file. They're not interchangeable. You can make a tool for an IT administrator that collects the activation requests for all the PCs and then submits them to your website, then uses the activation responses for all the PCs.
Also do manual activation have to have an expiration date?
Yes, that's set by you on your server.
