'The only thing that has changed is that I rarely shut down my computer. I just put it in hibernate and today I had to reboot because of some windows (7) updates.'
This week I have had a couple users report that their previously activated and workign app is reporting that the app has expired. Both are activated on your server
Can you explain why this would happen after 6 weeks of happy use?
What is the recommended procedure to get them up and running?

The activations don't expire. Are you calling Deactivate() somewhere in your app?
Also, if they change their computer significantly then TurboActivate will see it as a new computer.
