Get rid of "do you want to run this file"

is there any way to get rid of the "do you want to run this file" warning when running wyupdate?

Yes, use a proper installer for your app. This error is because whatever browser you downloaded your app from marks your zip file as "all these exe files are downloaded from the internet".

I'm not really sure what you're meaning. I made the installer using Innosetup. My app is installed on the client computers using a local network share to distribute that installer (so not downloaded via a browser). The app is installed on a local drive.When I open my app, I don't get a security warning, only when my app triggers wyupdate.

Uncheck the "Warn me" checkbox and you won't get that again. I'm not sure why you got it in the first place. You shouldn't have -- not unless you were downloading the wyUpdate.exe from your browser (or in a zip file from your browser).

If you customers are getting it then make sure the wyUpdate.exe isn't marked as "warn about download" (uncheck the box, click OK) and then rebuild your installer.

The way to never get this again is to always use our wyBuild installer downloaded from our website.
