Do we have an estimate of when it will be ready?
We're working on it. Sorry, no hard date. We've been focusing on getting a bunch of edge-case bugs fixed in wyUpdate and the AutomaticUpdater.
I am waiting for incremental patches and the ability to create the .wyp file from scratch (hopefully as plain text/xml so that its more source control friendly) so that integration of the update process is cleaner in the build script. Some earlier answers on the forum indicate that these features will be available with version 2.7. Do we have an estimate of when it will be ready?
These features will help with the current situation where one has to maintain binaries from all previous versions, update the .wyp file during the build process and check in the updated file into source control either manually or as part of the build process. I would like to avoid modifying a version controlled file (and checking it in) during the build process.

It's still coming.
