Failed to Activate messageAnswered

Hi,

I am using version 4.4.4.0 (latest for windows) and it was working fine. I got an email from a client that uninstalled a product and tried to reinstall it and he got the “Failed to Activate” error in an Inno Setup wizard. I tried with the same license key and even with a new one and I also got the same error.

I checked everything, and dlls, and all seems to be fine. This was working and now it is not working anymore.

Can you please provide some help?

Check the error codes.

It is calling ActivateEx and the error code is 17

TA_E_IN_VM. See TurboActivate.h for all error codes and what they mean.

Hi.

The error is related to a virtual machine activation. But I am trying this for a regular PC. 

Why is this happening?

This was working before.
