Malwarebytes Error 11Solved

Just an FYI in case other people experience this.

Latest Turboactivate and a user is getting error 11. I gave the user instructions to look into his WMI service. He couldn't stop it, Malwarebytes Service was using it. Oh dear. He had to completely uninstall Malwarebytes and then, hey presto, our software authorises… So now if we ever get error 11 on Windows, first question ‘Are you running Mawarebytes?’. The user can re-install Malwarebytes after.

Yeah, anything other than the built-in antivirus in Windows is a waste of time, resources, and money.

The built-in antivirus is as good as it gets. It can catch all general viruses and malware.

Beyond that, all customers should have automatic updates enabled and installed immediately to reduce the risk of 0-days.
