I have the same issue since updating to latest Ubuntu. The workaround would be to upload the updates with WinSCP or something similar? Thanks.
Everything used to work fine before, not sure when things stopped.
I try to upload the updates but I get “Couldn't connect to the remote server: Failed to establish the SSH Session. Error Code: -5”
And in the auth.log on the server I get “Unable to negotiate with 192.168.0.125 port 51008: no matching key exchange method found. Their offer: diffie-hellman-group14-sha1,diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1,diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 [preauth]”
I can connect to the server directly with putty and fileZilla so I can still upload the update files. But having it all in one spot was nice to have.

Same here on Windows, unable to upload with error -5 to SFTP. No alternative available for me, have to use this.
Hm I thought I'd just have to use a seperate ftp tool to upload the updates, but wyUpdate isn't working at all anymore - the updater gives the following message:
Error trying to save file: Error downloading "https://*/updater/updates/wyserver.wys": The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.
This makes it unusable :(
