I don't know; you didn't provide enough information. Some questions to answer:
- Are you using a custom version of wyUpdate?
- What version of wyUpdate are you using?
- What version of Windows are you using?
- Can you reproduce this on other computers?
- What happens when you double click wyUpdate.exe, do you get this error?
- Right click wyUpdate.exe, click Properties, is wyUpdate digitally signed? If not, then you've got a corrupt version of wyUpdate. Only use our version of wyUpdate. We don't support custom versions of wyUpdate.
- Do you have the .Net Framework Installed? If so, which versions?
- At what point does this error occur? (When you first start wyUpdate? After it checks for updates? Etc.)
- Is the computer you're running on cracked, or otherwise modified? (Custom themes, replaced dlls, other garbage, etc.)
- Did you run a Virus Scanner? Is the scanner up to date? Did it find anything?
- Do you have a Windows Update pending? Did you restart your computer?
