I've been using wyupdater for about 8 months I think.
Well, I havent been using it. I actually have my developeruse it to release patch updates and new versions to allmy users.
I've currently changed developers and I have them usingthe wyupdater now.
The problem is...previously all patch updates were tiny (perfect)but now since using my new developer, all updates have beenhuge.
It's almost like they are completely downloading the wholeprogram from scratch each time.
Not ideal.
Any advice here. Do you have an exact setting/tutorial thatmakes this possible?

First, to see what the problem is, disable the catch-all update. (File -> Properties -> Update & server files -> Uncheck "Create a catch all update [...]").
Rebuild your updates, re-upload them, and see when the catch-all update is being downloaded (it will tell you which file is failing to patch). Once you've figured out what file fails to patch, you know what to fix.
