Revoking licence

Using IsGenuine to check for a revoked licence would seem to require a local file storing somewhere on the client PC.

Isn't that risky? Couldn't they just locate the file and delete it or something to continue their use?

Any thoughts? If a file is needed any recommendatiions as to where to locate it?

meant to add - In the situation where the check fails due to lack of internet connection etc etc

Well, there's one possible area for fraud in revoking product keys. But we're solving this with TurboActivate 3.3. That is, we'll be hardocoding the date when IsGenuine() must be called directly into the activation. This way customers won't be able to "restore" activations after being revoked.

But presumably, for now, we still need to keep a file record of when we last checked thier license validity?

Or do you advise us just to ignore this possibility for now and wait for TB 3.3?

Any release date on that?

Yes.

It depends on your release schedule. I'd recommend using TurboActivate 3.2.2 now, then when TurboActivate 3.3 comes out, use that.

We're trying to release it ASAP. We're still adding a few features.
