Auto update not retrieving the files

Hi,

I have created the site in IIS and uploaded updates through Wybuild for 1.0 and 2.0 versions successfully. The uploaded files are avaialble in the server. I placed the wyUpdate.exe and client.wyc file in same folder and then run the wyupdate.exe, it showed "Latest version available... " then click update.. "updated successfully".. but no files are downloaded..nothign happend.. i took the older older version of client.wyc file and tested many times.. each time it shows "Updates available" and no error while downloading the files.. but no files are downloaded....

The folder size is around 172 mb which i put for updates.... is there any chance to go wrong because of the size??

Please tell me where it could have gone wrong..

Are you getting any warnings when you build your updates? Are you puttng your version in separate folders? Did you follow the step-by-step walkthrough?

I have followed the same steps given in the link. There is no warning or error or failure message. When I run the wyUpdate.exe it is showing as latest version is available when i click 'Update" button after few seconds it is showing 'Update Successful' but no files are retrieved to project folder.. Please help..

Where are you putting the file in wyBuild? In the "Your program's files" folder?

Are the files in the latest version being referenced from a different folder than files from previous versions?

Yes, i am placing the files in 'Your Program's files' folder

I have one folder as "releases" inside that got sub folders for versions like v1.0 contains initial version files v1.1 folder contains 2nd version files and so on... all are inside releases folder only...

I think this will go faster if I can just see your wyBuild project file. Send me your project file (the *.wyp file). Send it to wyatt@wyday.com and I'll take a look at it.

Great, I got the email. The project looks like it has been set up correctly. Can you give me one example of a file that has changed (say from 1.0 to 1.2), but is failing to update? Can you all send the old file and the new file to my email?
