Hey John,

What version of TurboActivate are you using?

This doesn't sound like a problem with TurboActivate -- this is most likely a hardware and/or driver problem (99% of the time blue screens are caused by faulty hardware).

  • What version of Windows are they on?
  • Are they overclocking their PC?
  • What does the Windows Event log say? (It records blue screens of death, so there should be details about the cause of the error).

I am using Windows XP with SP3. It looks like it is a conflict with a device driver. I booted my PC into safe mode with networking and was able to activate APEEL PHP CODE GENERATOR. When I restarted my PC normally and opened Apeel PHP Code Generator, the blue screen flashed and my PC restarted again. There is a definite device driver conflict with the activation process of Apeel PHP Code Generator. It looks like the activation system of Apeel PHP Code Generator checks for activation each time the program is opened. My PC works okay but will only reboot when I try to open the activated Apeel PHP Code Generator. The windows event log you requested is shown below:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0xf74a471d, 0xadf6b570, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini060712-03.dmp.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

I cannot open the event log .dmp file. I tried using the notepad but what I saw was unreadable. Please help.

ThanksIke

Go to Start -> Run, then type "cmd" and press Enter. In the command prompt type "verifier.exe /all" (without quotes) then restart your system. This will help you track which driver and/or piece of hardware is broken.

Fix the driver and/or hardware.
