johnonlyokay, how to describe this. (bear with me)
I have been using wybuild now for awhile, and the project is up to 1.0.0.17. Everything works like it should, but today I realized the update I put release had some trouble (within 2 minutes of releasing the last update). So I quickly made the changes and replaced just the exe file in the 1.0.0.17 folder (I have a copy of each release in their own folders) and rebuilt the project as 1.0.0.17 and reuploaded it... but found that the changes didn't take.. I then tried updateing from a very early version 1.0.0.0 it updated fine.. but still had the buggy 1.0.0.17, after doing this and making sure the exe file was the non buggy version I tried again .. replacing the exe and dragging the new exe to wybuild and rebuilding the update and uploading it .. still same problem...
okay I then went to the update build folder that wybuild creates and deleted all the *.wyu and wys files.. and rebuilt and uploaded it .. no problem .. non buggy version was in the wild...
would be nice if we rebuild the update that if the version exists tell us that its not going to write over the old one ...

When you rebuild updates in wyBuild it does overwrite existing update files (if there are name clashes). You probably either forgot the rebuild the updates (just skipping to the uploads step) or you forgot to upload the updates. It's hard to know.
(Also, I just tested wyBuild to confirm that this is still true.)
