auto-updates current revision with CD

Hello Support,

When I install with a CD containing the same revision as what is uploaded to the server, the auto-updater states that there is a newer version available, although it's the same.

Is this expected or am I doing something wrong?

If you double click the "client.wyc" file you can see the version embedded in the file. Do the same for the wyserver.wys file to see the "latest" version. If the client.wyc version is older than the wyserver.wys version then it will say updates are available.

Thanks for the quick response. Both files show the same version 1.0.3.

Send the exact client.wyc from the CD to support@wyday.com and I'll look at it.

Thanks for the help. You pointed me to the problem. The installer (.MSI) was not updated with the current .WYC file.
