I have an application that was deployed using an installer built in ISLE. I have posted several updates using wyupdate and all seems to be working well with the process. However, I am having some issues after an update is applied. When the user later starts my application through the shortcuts, the shortcut forces Installshield to "Repair" the install causing some of my dlls to revert back to the original version, breaking my program. If I execute the updated .exe without using a shortcut, it does not seem to happen. I have searched everywhere for a solution to this problem. Can someone offer some assistance with this? It is driving me crazy.

Hey David,
There's a setting in MSI files that "repairs" an installation if it has been changed by a 3rd party program. There's also a way to disable this setting.
