Cannot activate Windows 7 Home Premium: network adapters are disabledAnswered

Good morning,

after upgrading to the latest version of Turboactivate I have a customer that cannot activate his  license. The error I receive is “There are network adapters on the system that are disabled..” but the client sent me a screenshot of Network adapters window and there is no disabled adapters. I asked him to run the software as administrator (as per FAQ) but the error remains.

I really don’t know what else to do!

Answer
  • That version of Windows is no longer supported by Microsoft. They should try to install all available updates, but they're playing with fire. They *will* get a virus or already have a virus.
  • Use the latest TA.
  • Upgrade the network drivers.

Covered in the FAQ: “TurboActivate is returning "TA_E_ENABLE_NETWORK_ADAPTERS" or throwing the "EnableNetworkAdaptersException" exception, why?”
