I covered this above: https://wyday.com/forum/t/18930/vm-enabled-running-clones-of-the-same-vm-on-different-pcsmacs/#post-40052 Cloned VMs are treated as the same machine.
Also described in detail in our documentation (FAQ, help article, ad-nauseam on this forum, etc., etc.). Use TurboFloat on VMs.
Hello Wyatt, the FORUM was changed some time ago in order to avoid SPAM among many other things.
For instance, your network could be several hundred thousand computers large -- there's no feasible way to search all the processes on all the computers in the network to tell exactly which computer is using the program.
I'm using LimeLM with FastSpring though, so I came across this post and it looks like it works: https://wyday.com/forum/t/2370/fastspring-of-activations/ For anyone else who is in the same situation, all I did was modify the License Generator PHP Script for the product at Fastspring.
Sorry, the forum messed up the code formatting: require "fiddle"def check_license #encode UTF8 string as little endian to match windows wchar format.
I can only find partial information for this in forum answers.
(i prefer to not post it on the forum)
I noticed here https://wyday.com/forum/t/1535/revoking/#post-8536 that you were planning to release a built-in version of this functionality with TurboActivate 3.3.
Happy to provide our account info / product id but I wasn't sure if the public forum was the appropriate place for this. J.J.
We're going to change our forum software backend to a custom creation in about 6 months.
Against all the recommendations you put in the forum I have chosen to use the AutomaticUpdaterBackend in my winforms control.
Sorry if I'm missing this in the forum already, but I can't readily see how to bulk-delete (or modify) license keys.
Post by Wyatt O'Day on Jan 4, 2012For instance, click the "Show all product keys" or do an advanced search to only show the keys you want. Then it's a simple mater of selecting the product keys you want to view or modify.
I have searched forum and found one entry on this from Kimpeck. Just to confirm this needs custom work, which is OK, but I wonder if this is being added anytime soon, as one click purchasing is popular.
We are not able to update, because of reported problem with compilation - https://wyday.com/forum/t/5036/turboactivate-4-4-4-0-on-ubuntu-16-04/ In other words, you have just killed all older libraries and softwares that are using it, without ANY NOTICE UPFRONT.
Next, run all the powershell commands in the linked forum post to get al;l network adapters. Any physical adapter that doesn't show a MAC address is malfunctioning.
If the UI app is running, does the updater know that this file also needs to be updating so it kills the process or when the auBackend_ReadyToBeInstalled(object sender, EventArgs e) is run in my windows service code should I look for this process and kill it myself in by writing some code to search out this process and kill it?
Maybe I am missing something, but all I found is you can only bring one license up at a time using the search then I could not find a way to print reports.
If it were possible to search by extra data (which holds the activation client ID in my use case), it would be much easier to answer that second question.
