I currently have my application updating over HTTP, and I wanted to move it to HTTPS to satisfy a company requirement. I enabled SSL on my webserver, and I can browse to it over HTTPS with no problems.

Also, we typically recommend HTTP or HTTPS download sites because there are faster and there are better, stable, well-maintained HTTP / HTTPS servers.
I can download the file directly using a web browser. I've tried it via HTTPS and HTTP. Both give the same error. Error trying to save file: Error downloading "https://www.example.com/updates/active911-cvd/wyserver.wys": The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.

On the same server, working on a domain without https is fine. However, in a domain with https it fails with the above mentioned error.
