Is it possible to force the update text to remain on screen?

After the control checks for an update (the automaticupdater control), it displays the text "you already have the latest version."

Then the text scrolls "in towards" the green check mark. Afterwards, all that remains visible on the host form is the green check mark itself.

I'd like to know if there's a way to force the text to remain on screen along with the green check mark? It's not immediately clear to our users what the check mark means. It would help us a lot to have the text remain on-screen.
