Issues with wyUpdate and the web server

I'm getting this error when i check for updates with the server.

Error trying to save file: Could not download "http://www.kinemics.com/Updates/OMSSoftupdates/wyserver.wys" - a web page was returned from the web server.

I rent this server and have no access to any configuration, any suggestion?

Hey Ed,

Firstly, confirm that the file actually exists on your server. That is, did you upload it to that directory? If it does exists on your server at that address then see the FAQ question: Do I need to configure my server?

Since you have no access to configuring your server, you can change the file extensions of the *.wys and *.wyu files to *.zip.

Yes, the directory exist. I changed it for the post only.

I rename the files on the server, however the wyUpdate still looking for wyserver.wys.

wyserver.wys: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

I'm new to this control and today i'm using it for the first time. Do I need to do anything different?

I meant I renamed the file extention and I'm still getting an error.
