We talk about the cached update files in this forum post. It should be noted that you should not automate the deletion of the the files in these folders. These folders have changed in the past and they will change in the future.

Where does AutomaticUpdater keep its files, and more specifically the last checked time? I'd like to reset the last checked time since I've been testing auto-update by moving my computer's time into the future, and it'd be good to 'reset' this counter back to now.
