We are facing an issue with the administrator access in Windows Vista/7. Most of our users will not have admin access. But still we want to run the wyupdate to check for updates. Currently its failing if we dont select 'run as administrator'. Please help asap.
I can't reproduce this -- non-admin users can check for updates without any problem. Of course they require admin privleges to actually install the update, but the checking works fine.
What version of wyUpdate are you running? (Right click wyUpdate.exe, click Properties).

I mean installing the updates. Checking for updates working fine without admin privilege.We build the wyUpdate from the source downloaded from the below link.http://wyupdate.googlecode.com/files/wyupdate-2.6.13-source.zip
