imachinI was able to fix this by simply moving the update to another server with IIS that i could configure to serve the used extensions (.wyu & .wys) as application/x-zip-compressed
imachinI get this error when trying to check if there is a new version:The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.
I do have the latest version 2.6.18.4
