Hey Ryan,
Is it possible to have wyserver.wys say on a web server, then tell it to find the patches on a different server (Eg: CDN).
Sure, check out Site types (update site, server site, or both).
Tell me if this helps.
Hey,
Is it possible to have wyserver.wys say on a web server, then tell it to find the patches on a different server (Eg: CDN).
The reason for this is our CDN Caching Servers cache every hour, which means when wyserver.wys is on that server our software isn't aware of the update until the caching servers update.
By having wyserver.wys on our web server it will never be cached and thus our software will alway know when there is a new update. It also means that the actual patch files would be on the CDN and requests them appropriately.
Thanks 🙂
