"Time Error" on activation

I am running the latest v3 and have a user who reports a "timer error" on activation. I'm afraid I can't be any clearer on this, as I am struggling to get better information from him (such as a screen grab), but from what I can gather he is getting an error message when activating that mentions time/date settings. This is a new one for me, although I was aware that time/date settings can affect trial periods - this user is using a license code.Any ideas? He says that his settings are correct.

My guess, because other customers have struggled with this in the past as well, is that this customer has incorrect Timezone settings. They do the following, all the steps, and do them in this order:

1. Fix the timezone.2. Fix the date.3. Fix the time.4. Restart the computer.5. Try running your app again.

Step 1 is very important. As is step 4 (restarting the computer).
