Hi,
We have a few customers that don't want to connect their control computers (where we want to update the software) to the internet. Some don't even want them on their LAN.
I'm wondering if we can configure our update to have a local directory as well as online? I think the answer is yes... But to clarify:
Assume we configured our updater to have an FTP site as the first place to check for an update. Then in the list below that we could have a local directory like C:\program updates or something similar.
For those customers not wanting to connect, could we transmit the update files to them and have them move them into the local directory and run the client updater?
