Download sites and authentication

I don't to have the ftp site from wich updates will be downloaded public.How can I provide a username and password to my download sites.

You can specify the username and password as part of the ftp site:

ftp://username:password@yoursite.com/updates/%file%

Yep. That was it.You have a nice editor for that on the Upload page. I was searching for something similar on the Download Sites page.Thanks for your help.
