Change service name for Turbofloat

Is there any way we can change the service's name (not the display name) with Turbofloat? Right now, it defaults to TurboFloatServer-<version number>.

I'm thinking of changing the service name post install through an application, but I don't know if that would break anything.

Thanks for the great product and responsive support!

No, that's important and is necessary for the TurboFloat Server to function properly as a Windows service. Why would you want to change it? It's unique for your product version.

Just as a security measure. If end users are aware that turbofloat's being used, it would be easy enough for them to create their own config.xml file and re-install the service with new settings like extended lease times, isgenuine settings, etc...

We are planning to package the app with pre-defined optimal settings.

The license lease time doesn't matter. If they want to set a long lease time, they can, but it has downsides.

The IsGenuine settings have hard caps (90 days, 14 days grace period) they can't set them any longer than that. But that's what they should be at anyway.
