I need more information. My guess is that your app is still running, thus a file is in use. But, like I said, more information is needed.
Hi good morning,
I'm realizing that certain customers has appeared to him an error message indicating a problem cache the file is in use and this prevents the program is updated.
They have closed the process manually and then run without any problem wyUpdate updated.
How this problem is?
I need more information. My guess is that your app is still running, thus a file is in use. But, like I said, more information is needed.
hello
When a client attempts to update the product, wyUpdate said the file (the app) was in use, indicating the error from the temporary folder.
I had to close my app to be able to update wyUpdate.
regards
indicating the error from the temporary folder.
What do you mean by that?
I had to close my app to be able to update wyUpdate.
Yes, your app must be closed to update your app. That's the way the Windows File System works. You can't overrite files that are in-use (a.k.a. running or actually being used by other programs).
Good morning Sam
A client attempted to update the product but the application said that the application was in use (indicating the file in temporary files). Closing the application and run wyUpdate is again wyUpdate and could seamlessly upgrade the application.
A that this was due?thanks
Ok, you need to shut down your app before the update can complete. You can either do it, or you can let wyUpdate tell your user to shut down your app. Either way, it has to be shut down. That's by-design. wyUpdate needs access to your files in order to update them.
Hello,
WyUpdate was not able to close it, so I tell him this problem.
You're going to need to be more specific (with actual errors and the ability to reproduce the problem) if you want a more specific answer.
