LimeLM Problem when updating Paralells

One of my users installed and activated my software in a VM copy of Windows 7 on Parallels, using LimeLM. They later performed an update to Parallels Version 10.1.3 (28868) and attempted to re-activate using the same product key, but was informed the "product key was already in use" - I suspect the upgrade resulted in a new hardware fingerprint for the VM.

I provided the user with a new product key, but this may occur again for future system updates. How can I address this?

It seems that Parallels changed the fingerprint of the "computer". That's not unusual. It's just another reason to use floating licensing when customer install your app on VMs.
